This awesome fella is Flurry/Hanzo. He's a Suji n' Grommet baby. His people were going to get one of these pups but now they're moving to Colorado.

One of the boys is going to live with these two. The old guy is Demon/Talon. He was 14 years old on the Fourth of July this year. And then there's Jean/Kaida. She's a 2015 Suji baby.

03/06/2016 Nope, sorry, no babies yet but we're hopeful. Whiskey was standing for him today but she's not quite ready. This week for sure. I'd put money on it.
You can kinda' see how their date went today. Couple of the shots she's looking at him like, "Say WHAT?"

Well, good thing I didn't put money on it!! She's such a good girl she was just deferring to him. Later she pushed her way under the fence to get away from him. We'll have to keep waiting.
It's middle of June and FINALLY we're almost there. I've been putting Grommet out with her every day and will continue to do so.

Everybody understands that if we don't have enough babies we can either refund their deposits or move them to the next litter, in order of deposit/notification date. We searched high and low and finally found a couple new girls to add to the mix. Ahmee (ah-me) & Shiyoko (YoYo). We'll be breeding them both in 2018. Lord willing!
May have to pass on this litter cuz of his job situation.
Okay, it's August 14th, 2016 and we have 15 days until the due date. She is usually 4 days early so I'm thinkin' around the 25th, 26th. I took this picture last week when Ahmee (ah-me) came to live with us. I'm hoping Whiskey and Ahmee will be able to live together out in the big kennel.
She knows if she goes in the pool she's safe. He won't go in after her.
Whiskey is sweet enough but not sure how Ahmee will be when she gets big.
08/21/2016 and we've got a couple weeks to go. Her tummy size is worrying me a tad. Lord's will and I'm going to try not to worry about it.
She's always got that big ol' smile on her face. hehe

Guess I was preoccupied with my new little girl but Whiskey came in the house a good week before she was due. She sure acted like she was due any day. She had practically the whole house and she slept in the whelping box.
Such a sweet girl. My ONLY complaint would be she's a tad more hyper than most. Happy, happy, happy!
What a let down. On sooo many levels. I can't explain what's going on. That's two heats we failed. She's happy and her coat looks better than it ever has. She's mature and I think she turned out gorgeous. I wanted to keep that Japanese look and she's got it. Praying.
One minute I'd think no babies and the next I was sure there were at least 2-3 in there. I was a little worried that because I set up the whelping box in the living room she withheld the pups cuz she wasn't secure. But she didn't look real insecure to me. Though a few times she tried to get into the puppy room. Like she knew where she was supposed to go. She never really got milk. That should have shown up before I even brought her in the house...
One night I was so sure she was going to have them I put, "Whiskey pups born", on the calendar. That was the 29th, due day. Thinking she always came early but those were all big litters. These had some room to cook this time. No such luck. I'm sorry gang. Most families are just patiently waiting. Thank you!
< Back outside, acting and looking like nothing happen. Pretty sure the last 2-3 weeks were way harder on me than her. Look at her. She dunks her head. I can't believe that camera actually caught the splashing water by her hind legs. That's pretty amazing compared to what I'm used to. Thanks again Hope, Mike, Dylan and Kyle for the really nice camera!!
Of course we'll keep trying. Her last heat was the middle of June so six months from June is the middle of December. That's the plan. Pups due right about when I start getting busy with taxes. End of February. Ready to leave just in time for spring. Lord willing. Be cooler "picnic" weather for Grommet too. PRAY!!! We want a white long coated boy and a regular white coated girl. For sure. The orders are in!
This is not set in stone. Lots of things change. Suji could come into season before Whiskey for one thing. People decide to move, or they get a new job. People lose jobs, or have new baby humans... So hang in there. Takes time to make best friends. :)
01/12/2017 Well, it's a brand new year. Let's see if we can finally get puppies to everybody who wants one and has been waiting so patiently.

It's looking like Suji is going to come into season before Whiskey. That means the families on the dibs list here can either pick a Suji puppy or continue to wait for Whiskey.

Demon/Talon has gone to Rainbow's Bridge to be with his big sister Prancer/Mystique. He almost made it to 15. Rest in peace handsome boy!

Here we go again. I THINK Whiskey is coming into heat. I've been putting Grom out with her almost every day for over a week. Keep your fingers crossed and PRAY!!!
Remember, more folks on Suji's dibs list. We go by deposit dates so it doesn't matter which dibs list they're on.

11/13/2017 Well, another very disappointing year to say the least. We haven't given up yet!!!
The two girls are still getting along. Whiskey is the boss as you can see. As it should be. :)
I've been walking Daddy Grom cuz he's getting old and fat. I should talk! We'll try him for a couple days when Whiskey is ready. If that doesn't work we're calling in Amy and Onyx/Onyx.
