I'm repeating myself but another reminder. They're eating dry "Purina Puppy Chow" mixed with "Diamond" puppy and "Iams" puppy. I can't vouch for the "Diamond" but I stand by the "Purina" and the "Iams". I've been using "Purina" products for THIRTY years and I know several
I put them all in the puppy pool this morning. A couple actually tried to get back in.
Don't know why there are so many pictures of Colossus/Kenai. I think it's cuz he's the only one who holds still more than 5 seconds. Course, looking back, half of his photos he's got his head turned. :) Just like his father. I think I thought I was getting Gambit/Jax in some too.

06/23/2015 Babies are 6 1/2 weeks old and some are leaving this coming weekend. Sad and happy at the same time.
I told some of you that I'd get more pictures up today. Well, I had better hurry cuz it's 11:19 p.m. I know, I always have an excuse butttttt, after I finished working on a guy's 2013 tax return, I had planned on taking pictures. But then, Pete called and said he'd trade some computer work for weed whacking Whiskey's kennel. Couldn't pass that one up. Hey Sam, he also put nuts and bolds in Storm/Maya's crate so she's ready to head East. Everybody please pray for cooler weather!
Got a couple shots in before dark. Tried to put Rogue and Jubilee in the pool to get some individual shots of them for a gentleman that phoned this afternoon. Jubilee was out before I could even turn on the camera. I didn't have a Plan B. I'll try again tomorrow.

There are examples of our long coated babies all over the second generation's web pages. Never had a long coat until the second generation. I Also added some examples to the last litter's web pages. CLICK HERE and scroll down a tad. Pretty sure Rogue's coat won't be nearly as long as Ivan's. Probably more like Mikoto's. She's a she so she probably won't get that big. She'll be big though. I'd guess 100 lbs. Definitely head turners they are.

I still can't tell them apart without seeing their feet.

Colossus/Kenai is still the biggest boy and Jubilee is the biggest girl. Beast/Beast and Rogue are still the most concerned about what I'm doing.
They help me clean up poo all the time. Puppies helping with the cleaning is kinda' like brushing your teeth while you're eating an Oreo. :) Read something similar to that on "Facebook" and it made me laugh. They were referring to young humans, but, pretty fitting here too. :)

06/24/2015Babies will be seven weeks old tomorrow!
Jubilee is the first to climb into the pool without help from gamma'. >
Suji is blowing her coat. You can see the nice fresh white coat underneath. Couple more weeks and she'll be shiny white.

The puppy room. Roughly 5 hours ago I took out all the old paper, swept, then put new in. Except by the water bowls. Amazing how they can totally trash the place.

See that guy over on the right? That's Frosty/Mikoto from one of Suji's earlier litters. Same hair length, same color...
Hard to believe but, below is what Frosty/Mikoto looks like now. That's his new mommy he's sitting on. He's earned his CGC and he's a certified service dog. I couldn't be more proud!
Rogue is a girl and won't get that big but, she could get up to 120 lbs. If you don't have room for a GIANT in your home then Rogue is probably not the puppy for you.
I would suspect that Rogue's coat will be similiar in color and length.
06/29/2015 That month sure went by quickly. Babies are almost 7 1/2 weeks old. The boys all left this past weekend. Only the girls remain.

4th of July! I took most of the next photos a couple days ago. The babies are all at their new homes now except Rogue and Jubilee/Joseline. "Jubie" will be flying out to Niagara, NY sometime next week. ROGUE IS STILL AVAILABLE!! It was pretty cool when Storm/Maya was flying out of La Crosse President Obama was flying in.
Oh, forgot, babies are 8 weeks and 2 days today.

My little Stormy is out in New Hampshire now. Her new family are prettty happy.

Their mama gets kinda' rough with them at times. I think she's teaching them. She's still nursing and keeping them clean. Good mama. Part of the reason the moms can look so drained is because they'll actually puke up their dinner and the pups eat it. Yah, you haven't lived until you've witnessed that.

07/08/2015 Babies will be 9 weeks old tomorrow. Jubilee/Joseline is leaving for Niagara tomorrow and Rogue is still available. I'm considering keeping her myself. Only thing holding me back isssss, she'll have to either live in here with her mother and father and will she and mama always get along? Or, she'll have to live outside with Whiskey and her coat will probably always be a mess.

And now, for the two who are still here. I tried to get them to go down the three deck steps to the ground. Rogue has been following me everywhere since she was 3-4 weeks old. But, the steps are just too scary. She did follow me back up and I think is the first to ever do that.
Akitas are supposed to look like bears. Crop that tail and there you have it. :)

07/12/2015 Babies were 9 weeks old 3 days ago. Thursday, the 16th, they'll be 10 weeks old. Where did that time go???
"Now, only my "lil bear", Rogue, is here. She's another happy happy girl. Everything is okay with her. She's not even afraid of the vacuum. The smoke alarm went off in here the other day. Happens when I don't turn on the bathroom fan and close the door when I take a shower. Grommet ignores it. Suji was barking at it and Rogue was watching to see what I was going to do. Pretty funny. She's just silly. She'll slam herself down on the ground with her tummy exposed so you'll pet it. ADORABLE!

These are all Rogue.
She's standing funny below. She actually has the nice straight back our standard calls for. Tail is double curling already and ears are up! I don't think her coat will get much longer and I'm told they shed about the same as the regular coats.
You can see how she's starting to turn silver like her older brother pictured above. Her face will always stay black except for maybe around her eyes where she has
"Angel Kisses".
We've been going for walks. She's so entertaining and cute as a button. :) She listens to me pretty well. Course, she is an Akita, so, no promises there. hehehe
She's probably going to want/need a kiddie pool in her yard.

07/19/2015 Today the babies are almost 10 1/2 weeks. Rogue is still available. I took these on Thursday at 10 weeks.

07/23/2015 Babies are 11 weeks old today. Rogue is still here and entertaining me constantly. You should see her chase butterflies and grasshoppers. Hilarious!
