Pebbles and Betty were the most brave today. Bam Bam is a giant sissy. So is Dino.

It's still really hard to take their pictures. They keep wanting to follow me.

04/02/2011 Babies are almost 6 weeks old. I went to "Menards" today and got some wire. Now the babies can play on the deck safefly.

Here we're playing rip the bunnies head off.

Dino and Bam Bam had to be coaxed out the door.

Actually, I had to drag Bam Bam.

Some people just don't like change. :)

Wilma/Anouk was the first to look for an escape route. Followed by Betty/Nala.

I knew Wilma was alpha before she was an hour old. :)

Pebbles/Luna was the first out the door.

Suji had to take her turn abusing the bunny.

04/08/12 Babies are 6 1/2 weeks old. Bam Bam just became available, again. Sheesh. So, I needed more pictures. I took 46 and these are the only ones that sorta' turned out. I'll try again this afternoon when the sun isn't on this side of the house.

In case you're wondering, that's a kitty cage, above the bench, for bird watchin'. We call it "Mr. Puddin's Skybox".

Can you see how much bigger Dino/Kona is than Wilma/Anouk? The three long coats are quite a bit bigger. Maybe it's just the fluff???

04/12/2012 Babies were seven weeks old yesterday. Wild and crazy guys!!!

Two of my girls are leaving on Saturday. The other on Sunday. Dino/Kona is leaving on the 19th flyin' to Memphis. Bam Bam is still looking for his forever home. I'm sure the Lord has somebody special lined up.

My giant Bam Bam will be here all alone with his gamma'.

There's a young couple coming to meet him tomorrow night and another couple on the 23rd.

Not sure how anybody could resist!!! Except he's a total monster. He thinks he owns the world and everybody in it. :)

Dino/Kona went to the vet on Monday, for his health certificate to fly, and he was 17.6 lbs. Two days before 8 weeks of age.

Everybody is gone now. Boo hoo. Bam Bam's new name is Osaka. It means dragon god in Japanese. Pretty cool. He's livin' with his friend Jackson. His grandma used to have Goof/Haru from Sasha's 2003 litter. I expect some pictures soon. Stay tuned for the really furry guys.

These guys are so cool. Off on another adventure. Kona and Kaya gotta' be two of the luckiest Akitas ever!!!

Very sad to report that Kaya and Kona are no longer with us. They're romping around at Rainbow's Bridge now. I was very fortunate to be able to see Kona before he left to go be with Kaya. What a magnificent guy!!! Thank you with all my heart for taking such good care of those guys. HUGS!
