Some nice blurry pictures taken the day of their "picnic".
Daddy Grommet is the fawn and Mama Suji is the pinto.
You can see hundreds of pictures, of both parents, and previous litters, by clicking on the link above.
Below is Suji Mo with roughly 44 days to go!!!
Sometimes "Booger", sometimes "Sugar". Look at her eyes in the picture to the right. "Booger" or "Sugar"? hehehe
This gal is movin' in with her big brother Lucian/Ivan from Jager's 2011 litter. No deposit 01/21/2013
ELEVEN MORE DAYS TO GO!!! Course, I think she'll have um' on Valentine's Day. So, what shall we nickname them? Was going to go with "Lost Civilizations", cuz of the world ending in Dec. 2012, but that just doesn't seem appropriate for Valentine's Day babies.
Puppy room is all ready to go. We'll move her in the house this weekend. She'll love that. Except she'll probably be too warm.
I'll close the heat vents in that room until the babies start coming.

Babies are here!!! Born a day early on February 15th, 2013
She had NINE little miracles. We were especially blessed this time. Her record was six. Unfortunately the last precious soul went to "Rainbow's Bridge". I think he took too long to be born.
#1 GIRL Born at 3:19 p.m. She's got the most white of anybody. Matching white knee socks in the front and white toes in the back. She's got a big white tip on her tail and a white necklace. Her chest and tummy are almost totally white. Chin too. She's also got a tiny white spot on her forehead.
#2 GIRL Born at 4:40 p.m. She's mostly black. Which means she could stay dark like her mama or she could be a brindle like her Grandma Sasha or she could look like Grandpa Mac. No white on her tail. White toes all the way around and a little white on her chest.
#3 GIRL Born at 5:32 p.m. She's got a white spot on the back of her neck. Big white tip on her tail and white toes in the back. Her right front leg has a white knee sock and the left a white anklet. :) She has lots of white on her chest and tummy.
#4 BOY Born at 6:21 p.m. Finally! A boy!!! I was beginning to get a little worried. You'll never guess what color? He's got white toes in the back and front right. His front left has a white knee sock. He's also got a tiny white tip on his tail and a white spot on his forehead.
#5 GIRL Born at 7:47 p.m. She's got a tiny white tip on her tail. White toes in the rear and matching white front feet. It's going to be challenging trying to tell these guys apart.
#6 GIRL Born at 8:51 p.m. She's got matching knee socks in the front and a tiny white tip on her tail. ENOUGH GIRLS ALREADY!!! :)
#7 BOY Born at 9:38 p.m. He's got a white stripe/blob on the back of his neck. White on the top of his nose and forehead like his mother. His front legs are almost totally white and his back feet are white. So's his chin. :)
#8 BOY Born at 9:38 p.m. He's got white toes on all four feet and a little white tip on his tail. And, he looks just like everybody else! :)
We're going to nickname them after precious gems. Seein's how they're my Valentine's present this year! I wanna' get to know them a little better first.
Here's where it gets complicated. :)
My good friends, down in Texas, already chose baby girl #1 Diamond.
02/17/13 Babies are two days old.
Okay, I've got the boys figured out. Zircon, #4, has white on his forehead and mismatched front socks.
Onyx, #7, has the most white with white on the back of his neck.
Emerald, #8, he's got matching white toes on all 4's.
Problem is, a couple of the girls are spittin' images of Zircon and Emerald. I'll have to flip um' to tell them apart. :)
Mama Suji is doin' great. She's got her figure back already and everything. :)
02/20/13 Babies are five days old.
Had um' labeled wrong but I think I've got it now. I had Emerald where it should have been Onyx. So much for havin' the boys figured out. :)
#7 Onyx is the boy with the most white.
#8 Emerald has the least amount of white.
#4 Zircon is somewhere in between. :)
I'll have to weigh the little tanks. The boys are huge.
02/24/13 Babies are nine days old.
I think it's #2 Garnet who is the smallest at this point. I'll probably start feeding them puppy slop in the next couple days to help out Mama.
They're starting to cruise around now and their eyes should be opening soon. When they get a little bigger I'll get Pete to hold them so I can get some better pictures. And, MAYBE, even label them all.
02/26/13 Babies are eleven days old.
First day with soggy puppy food!!! I can already tell ya the two most stubborn in the group. I musta' put Onyx in the pan 4-5 times. He wouldn't have it. Fought me the whole way. And, Miss Diamond. Same thing.
I think Ruby and Garnet took to it the best. Course, they're probably the hungriest since they're smaller than the rest of the gang.
I know, I make way too much slop but Mama gets the left-overs.
We're going to have to figure out the food situation. For decades I've used "Purina Puppy Chow". Now I get my dog food from a lady who gets ripped bags off of trains/trucks. Forty and fifty cents a pound for the best stuff. "Holistic Select" and "iVet" and "Iams" and "Blue"... For example; "Iams" at "Walmart" is about $37.00/44 lbs. Costs me $17.60 at Liz's. :) Sooo, we're using "iVet" large breed puppy - professional formula.
Since I have no idea where you can buy "iVet" and it's probably waaaaaaay expensive... I think I'll start mixing in some "Purina Puppy Chow". That way you guys can either use "iVet" or "Purina". If you want to switch to another brand you just have to do it gradually. I try to give the babies all kinds of treats and cookies to build up their little constitutions. :)
We've been blessed with great health around here but we have had some issues with food allergies. Chicken is usually the culprit. We've had the best luck sticking to the "Purina Puppy Chow".
02/27/13 Babies are a dozen days old.
I think I know who's who!?!?
Emerald is the biggest right now. 3 lbs.
Prime examples of the cooperation I receive.
Garnet is the smallest at a little over 2 lbs.
Opal and Jade are both at 2.5 lbs.
Diamond, Onyx and Zircon are all at 2.75 lbs.
Jade wins most cooperative. She was very calm and loves cuddling.
Most the others were giant wiggle worms. Their eyes are just starting to open.
03/03/13 Babies are sixteen days old.
Eyes are open and we're on the move!
Except Jade, who's busy napping.
Soon I'll get somebody to help me take better pictures.
So far only a couple seem to be getting lighter. Not much though. Garnet seems to have the longest coat but it's still early.
03/06/13 Babies are nineteen days old.
They're becoming little people now!
03/09/13 Babies were three weeks old yesterday. They got their first de-worming and they all took it quite well.
Onyx's nose is pink now but it will turn black in a couple weeks.
They're all very calm babies. Amazes me. They all know my voice already.
03/10/13 Babies are 23 days old today! I let them out of the whelping box today!
"We're freeeeeeeeeee".
Some of us are very adaptable!
Sorry but I can't identify some of um'. If I can't see both front feet...
We've got three families coming to visit this weekend. Hopefully we'll have most everybody chosen and we'll know if we have any available babies.
Most of them took it all in stride. Diamond complained some but that's just Diamond. They're still pretty little and all were kinda' relieved when I put them back in the whelping box/cage. I took the top board off the door so they can go in and out as they please now. They've got free range of a 13' x 12' room and tons of new exciting things to explore. Egg cartons, milk cartons, milk jugs, paper towel rolls...
03/14/13 Babies are almost 4 weeks old!!!
< There's Kadena in the back ground. She's almost 12.
< Daddy Grommet. I'm not sure he likes his kids. His daddy used to bring bones to the puppies. Grommet just whines. :) I think he wants me to come out.
Pretty sure Garnet is a long coat and she's the smartest in the bunch too. She's already playin' tug o' war with the sock hanging from the kennel. The others don't even know it's there.
Outta' space. Time for Page 2.
