Daddy, Grommet, is the big fawn guy.  The son of the best friend I ever had!
Jager, Grommet's other girlfriend.
Mama Suji Moo
Daddy Grommet
Suji with seventeen days to go!!!
She got fat faster than any girl I've had.  I was positive she was pregnant by like three weeks.
Grommet
She could use a bath.
She'll be sparklin' white again when she blows that coat.
She's got pretty little diamond shaped beady eyes.  Too bad you can't see them in the pictures.  Maybe when the babies come we'll get some good face shots.   Course, we all know my photography abilities or lack there of.  :(

Baby #2 Born 10:50 a.m.  GIRL  BIG.  Black.  Tiny white tip on tail, white toes on the back.  White toes on the front.  Also butt 1st.  Weighs in at a hefty 1.7 lbs.  I think she wins for the biggest puppy ever!  "Guinness"
Baby #3 Born 11:58 am.  GIRL  Black.  White toes on the left front and white foot on the right.  White tip on tail.  Smaller tip than #1 but bigger than #2.  White toes on the back. "Killarny"

< Look at the size of that tummy!!!
I can't tell the three darkest ones apart yet.  I'll have to get to know them and learn their toes and tails.  :)
#3?
Their mama is doing a great job.  She's a very good mama!
Not sure where she put all the pinto babies?!?!
The delivery was a breeze.  Course that's my opinion.  :)
I'm not sure what color they're going to be.  Some may look like Grandpa Mac.  Kinda' like a silver GSD.  They call it fawn with black over-lay.
Some may lighten up and look like their daddy.  Fawn.  I think the big girl, #2, may be a fawn.  She's the lightest at this point.
My guess would be that the pups with more white may stay the darkest like their mama.
All spoken for.
Next litter.
This baby is moving to Lake Villa, Illinois with Scott and Dina and their family   Deposit 03/12/10
At 8:30ish Suji had a 7th pup.  He was stuck in there too long and didn't make it.  I tried puppy CPR for a long time but he wouldn't wake up.  He's at "Rainbow's Bridge".
What are we going to nickname this gang?
03/14/10  Babies are two days old.  We've decided on Irish Beers for nicknames.  They were due on St. Patrick's Day but didn't quite make it.
#1 Girl will be "Harp" cuz she's been harpin' since she was born!
#2 Girl will be "Guiness" cuz she's stout.  :)
#3 Girl will be nicknamed "Killarny" cuz that sounds more girly than Murphy or Smithwicks.  I'll call her Killie.
#5 Boy we'll call "Smithwicks".  We'll pretend that's a curly wick on the back of his neck.
#4 Boy is "Murphy".  He looks like a Murphy.
#6 Boy will be "Caffery".  Reminds me of calf, and he looks most like a spotted holstein.
Nicknamed after Irish beers.  :)
^ Rotten picture but look at that cute little foot.
Little miracles!
The pink noses will turn black.

They are really getting big and their mama is doing a very good job.
They really wiggle when I'm trying to take their pictures.
Their eyes will start opening in the next week.
They can't hear yet either.  They can only rely on their sense of smell.
#5 Smithwicks
#1 Harp
All they really care about right now is where's the chow?
They're all still very black.

#2 Guinie the pig weighs 2.12 pounds!
#4 Murphy weighs 2.8 pounds and #5 Mr. Smith weighs 2.4.
That leaves #6 Caffie and he comes in second at 2.10.

I couldn't get Mr. Smith or Guinie or Caffey to wake up.
I started them on soggy puppy chow a couple days ago and I think they ate too much!  :)
Guinie is still the biggest and she seems to have the lightest coat.
Murphy is the most aware of what's going on.  He's also the first I heard growl.  Mr. Tough Guy.  I had to pull him off of two of his sisters in the short time I was in there.  May be alpha male.
On a lighter note, he's also the first to come running when he hears me.
They're all starting to get their teeth.  YIKES!
Below, Murphy pickin' on Killie, but, she's holdin' her own.
Harp is probably going to be the alpha female but it's still a little early to tell.
I think Guinie will probably be a big lazy don't care about much kinda' girl.  :)  Just don't mess with my puppy chow!
I make a kissy noise when I feed them and they already know what that means.  Helps when they go to their new homes.  They'll come when you make kissy noises.  hehe
I'm going to be really busy the next couple weeks but I'll try to get as many pictures as possible.  Once tax season is over I'll have more time.  Thanks for your patience, I know it's hard.  :)
They all have nice thick coats and nice bear heads.   Very nice babies!!!
Their mama is doing great and she's doin' a pretty good job for her first litter.
They picked Murphy.

Guiness isn't the biggest any longer.  Her brothers are catchin' up.  I think Harp is the smallest now.  She's a lot like her mama.

Amy's turn!
I think Guinie and Murphy will look most like grandpa Mac.
Everybody is staying unusually dark.  Of course Harp and Caff will look most like their mother.  Same shaped head and stuff.
Killie and Smithwicks seem to have their mother's nose.
Killie, Murphy and Smith like me the most.  Guinie is still standoffish and laid back.
Murphy, Harp and Smith seem to be the most sure of themselves.
It's Amy's turn to pick her boy. It's Kristin and Aaron's turn to pick their girl.
More pictures comin' from Stef n' Shawn.
